Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
1. Understand and interpret high level requirements to conceptualize and generate mechanical design solutions and specifications that contribute toward our next generation of spectrophotometers, colorimeters, and color imaging Instruments.
2. Utilize SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling software to develop opto-mechanical assemblies.
3. Generate 2D engineering drawings and documentation from 3D CAD models.
4. Produce 2D electro-mechanical assembly drawings such as PCB outlines and cable/harness assemblies.
5. Modify designs of existing parts and assemblies whenever applicable.
6. Interact with outside suppliers and vendors.
7. Prepare test protocols, perform tests to verify and validate designs / processes, and document test completion reports.

Experience & Qualification
You have:
1. BS in Mechanical Engineering.
本科学历，机械工程相关专业。
2. 5 to 7 years of mechanical engineering design experience in a manufacturing-based environment.
5 - 7年制造业机械工程设计经验。
3. Experience utilizing SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling software.

4. Demonstrated knowledge and experience generating designs that utilize injection molded plastic, die cast, sheet metal and machined components.
