Primary Duties & Responsibilities 61 Grow customer account value through strategic business planning and interface with management and sales as defined in the SAA. 61 Acquired new account growth through excellence customer service and account execution 61 Define, build and train for staff excellence in the account team 61 Procure complete definition for each project and clearly define the customer’s expectations to the support team at the division 61 Review strategic Value Engineering opportunities with customer(s) for mutually beneficial cost savings 61 Ensure products are engineered to customer specification 61 Develop or manage the development of a project time line for every project. Coordinate with Master Scheduler to develop “project launch cycle” and monitor progress and develop corrective actions where needed 61 Coordinate with Purchasing Department to ensure on time/on budget material procurement 61 Participate in prototype development and review process 61 Monitor production of product through both physical review of work in process and through review of labor and costing report data. Aid in development of corrective actions where needed 61 Lead Gross Margin Improvement Initiative for related projects to drive cost savings, price increases, and value engineering 61 Provide shipping instructions including verification of site off load conditions where applicable 61 Facilitate and assist in the completion of customer inventory reports and their review 61 Monitor and manage customer inventory attempting to reduce risk of obsolescence 61 As production capacity requires, facilitate outsourcing of production and services 61 Provide technical back up to Sales and Estimating as required 61 Visit manufacturing locations to review new products before primary manufacturing and shipments begin 61 Provide monthly Sales Forecast for assigned customer(s), with assistance from Sales where applicable 61 Perform post mortems on successful and unsuccessful projects to determine root cause issues and opportunities for future improvement 61 Manage cost of quality impact and established root cause for future COQ reduction
