1. Provide patent information services upon request, including patentability search, patent alert, patent analysis, etc. 2. Provide intellectual property literacy workshops to enhance IP information retrieval and analysis skills among faculties and students. 3. Organize IP seminars and training programs to maximize impact. 4. Liaise with intellectual property government departments about accreditations and prepare various reports/documents for annual review. 5. Develop and maintain relationship with IP related offices in the university, external experts, and local governments 6. Promote the centre among local industries through IP service outreach 7. Maintain the content on Centre’s website and social media platform, such as news/notices release, policy updates and workshop post, etc. 8. Qualifications:
61 Master’s degree or above in science, engineering, pharmacy, or related fields 61 Strong information retrieval skills 61 Demonstrated experience with one or more projects on sci-tech innovation information retrieval report, assessment of patentability, patent analysis for specific technologies, analysis of institutional patent competitiveness, etc. 61 Demonstrated experience with using data analysis or statistical software applications 61 Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to build relationships across professional and disciplinary areas 61 Ability to work effectively, both in independently and collaboratively, in a collegial environment 61 Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skill both in English and Chinese 61 Ability to work effectively, both in independently and collaboratively, in academic environment 61 Certificate of patent agent, sci-tech innovation retrieval is preferred
