PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: 1.Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner. 2.Acquires and maintains technical understanding of products purchased. 3.Performs cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities. 4.Obtains materials, components, equipment and services. 5.Develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate. 6.Monitors the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. 7.May recommend cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis, alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria.
Job requirement: 1.Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 year’s experience. 2.Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing.
