Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the preparation of designs, models and detail drawings, demonstrating leadership and providing technical guidance for the projects assuring they are in conformance with divisional standards and customer requirements.
2. Maintain expert knowledge of the CAD and computer systems, developing and establishing programs design guidelines and standards. Assist in the training and development of other department employees.
3. Provide assistance and technical support in the development, implementation, and interpretation of standards and procedures for continuous improvement in product designs, Manufacturing, and Drafting.
4. Coordinate data exchange with customers (both internal and external).
5. Assist in the administrative duties of the department, regarding record keeping and the analysis of technical data.
6. Follow all company policies and procedures such as the quality management system, BOS and environmental health and safety.
7. Ensures all works are carried out in good conditions respecting EHS procedures, company standards and applicable norms & legislation.

Requirements:
1. Minimum Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field with prior CAD experience.
2. At least 2 years of working knowledge of drafting skills, CAD and PC applications.
3. Must also demonstrate skills in English/metric conversions, have mathematical competency in algebra/geometry/trigonometry and knowledge and experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
4. CAD-3D, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance, English language.
