Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Planner & Buyer to join our supply chain team. This role combines supply planning, purchasing, and export logistics coordination. You will work closely with the internal supply chain and operations teams, as well as external contract manufacturers (CMs), to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely outbound shipments.
Key Responsibilities Planning & Purchasing 61Receive shipment forecasts from HQ operation team, and POs from global customers, break down plans for execution at the CM level 61Generate purchase orders and follow up on production progress 61Coordinate Proforma Invoice (PI) applications for various prepayments, including material, sampling, testing, and tooling-related needs 61Monitor material readiness and production timelines 61Track and follow up on CMs' material inventory, raise concerns, and escalate or request internal support when needed 61Track planning accuracy and maintain planning reports for internal review Logistics Coordination 61Coordinate with CMs on outbound shipping arrangements 61Check CMs export documentation, including commercial invoices and packing lists, confirm and provide to the operation team for receiving in the MRP system. 61Provide customs clearance documents to freight forwarders or customers 61Support logistics bookings or communication needs 61Serve as the key SCM contact for all shipment-related execution Cross-functional Collaboration 61Work closely with internal operations team to align planning and shipping priorities 61Collaborate with external CMs to ensure capacity, timeline, and delivery requirements are met
Qualifications 61Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field 61Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in planning, procurement, or logistics 61Familiar with export processes and customs documentation 61Proficient in Excel; ERP/MRP system experience is preferred 61Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills 61Bilingual in English and Mandarin 61Experience in a cross-border manufacturing or consumer product environment is a plus
