1.Follow established company QM processes and procedures according to IMS and consider enterprise environmental factors during daily work;
2.Responsible for handling application requests from customers. Activities include analyzing customer’s technical needs, conducting competitive lab testing & analysis, and suggesting solutions in the form of convincing reports;
3.Provide on-site support to resolve customer issues in all related tape applications;
4.Prepare and present technical information for customer training sessions;
5.Be able to transform customer needs and requirements into target product specification;
6.Being knowledgeable in and continuously apply tesa Standard Test Methods (JOPM);
7.Develop standard and application test methods;
8.Lead new Technical Service projects with ownership and accountability;
9.Estimate the costs, resources and time required to conduct one or more Technical Service projects and monitor the performance of these projects to ensure targets are met;
10.Identify new market trends / opportunities and contribute to new product ideas and share with cross functional team. Be able to transform customer needs and wants into target product specification;
11.Search for suppliers by desk research, exhibitions and conventions and visits;
12.Develop and maintain technical expertise on advances and innovations in research and science;
13.Search technical information that includes patents, technical papers, trade journal articles, etc;
14.Coach and mentor less experienced engineers; check the quality of their work and help them resolve problems.

1.Master degree in material science, chemistry,3 years job experience above;
2.Display OCA lamination experience is needed.;
3.Knowledge on tape application, testing and product convertibility are added advantages;
4.Good work attitude and willingness to learn from and with one another; being open minded;
5.Strong communication skills with local colleagues and global functions;
6.Good work organizer, team player;
7.Good statistical analysis and project management skill;
8.Fluent writing and speaking English & Chinese; Korean or Japanese language skills are an advantage;
9.Willing to travel.
