Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to ensure that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. The Quality Manager, will inspect, together with his team, the final product to make sure it has been built with compliance to legal standards and meets customer expectations. Therefore he continuously needs to seek for understanding of new materials, products and processes. A great quality manager is thorough and observant with an eye for detail. He must fully understand the requirements for the product or service and have a sense of responsibility towards our potential and existing customers as well as the competition. The goal is to help preserve our reputation by ensuring that our products and services are capable to drive sustainable growth.
Main tasks include: 1.Understand needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes. 2.Devise and review specifications for products or processes 3.Be able to establish systematic and structural quality assurance methodology and capability. 4.Work together with RD department / suppliers to design proper inspection tools and Jigs. 5.Prepare inspection instructions and provide training to Q inspectors 6.Set new product/material standard with other department for suppliers and monitor their compliance 7.Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback. 8.Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards. 9.Approve the right products or reject defectives. 10.Lead quality issues during NPI process until stable quality. 11.Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis. 12.Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives 13.Be actively on the lookout for opportunities to improve and develop new efficient inspection procedures 14.Take ownership of company quality system maintenance and improving activities 15.Other matters which assigned by the superior
Qualifications: 1.Bachelor degree or above 2.above 5 years working experience in quality management 3.manufacturing/engineering background, furniture experience is preferred 4.deep knowhow in QM methodology 5.A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach 6.high leadership skill in team motivation, good communicator and team player as well as in team cooperation 7.Excellent organizational and project management skills 8.In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards 9.Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods 10.Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO9001 etc) 11.Hands-on active mentality, pro-active attitude 12.Good English in writing, reading and listening 13.Familiar with Words, Excel, PowerPoint.
