The Demand Planning Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of production processes by accurately forecasting demand and coordinating supply capabilities. This position requires a combination of analytical skills, communication abilities, and an understanding of the manufacturing industry.
Main Task; 1.Demand Forecasting -Analyze historical sales data, sales forecast data in C4C to develop the Demand vs.Supply status review. -Use statistical models and forecasting tools to predict future demand and identify potential fluctuations. -Collaborate with sales, production, and product development teams to gather insights and incorporate them into demand forecasts. 2.Supply Capacity Coordination -Work closely with sales, order processing & order generation, production, and product teams to maximum the capacity of meeting the customer request upon lead time & delivery. -Contribute to Monitor the inventory levels. -Participate the SIOP meeting to the development of strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times. 3.Data Analysis and Reporting -Prepare regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory status, and supply capability for management review. -Use data analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance demand planning processes. 4.Project Support -Provide demand planning support for new product launches and major projects. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting and resource allocation for project-related activities. 5.Communication and Collaboration -Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal stakeholders. -Provide regular updates on demand forecasts and supply status to ensure alignment and informed decision-making.
1.Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. 2.Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related field in a complex customized equipment manufacturing environment. 3.Experience with demand forecasting tools and techniques. 4.Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations. 5.Analytical Skills -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and draw meaningful conclusions. -Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, or statistical analysis software. 6.Communication Skills -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. -Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. -Good English communication both in oral and written. 7.Organizational Skills -Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 8.Technical Skills -Familiarity with CRM systems and SAP software. -Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
