Principal Responsibilities: 61 Assist and answer enquiries from the Sales & Distribution via emails and phone calls when they faced technical challenges regarding the products, providing technical expertise and detailed information regarding products in the quickest manner, thus helping Sales & Distribution to solve customers’ problems about the product features, functions and additional options. 61 Provide technical support for Sales & Distribution when customers request for products modification/re-design/design special. Work with Product Engineering, Purchasing, Production Planning and Production, and lead in meetings and discussion to develop solutions. 61 Arrange and host consumer witness tests whereby the products are being tested in the customers’ sight after purchase. Needs to prepare proposal and documentations, detailing test targets and American Refrigeration Institution (ARI) standard, and test catalogs for customers’ review before testing and generate test result report. 61 Receive and check customers’ sales orders to ensure that it adhere to industrial standards and Trane’s production methods and requirements before issuing approval for Sales & Distribution to confirm the orders with the customers. 61 Work with Product Engineering to maintain an updated and good understanding of products’ functions, technical specifications, strength, components, compatibility and system’s operation. Maintain and update the database for technical knowledge, prices, competitors’ products and etc for the purpose of sharing with the whole team 61 Prepare and provide product data report, eg. order quantity and price amount, sales quantity & price amount and percent of one model versus total models for all principal products for Product Management department. These data have to be summarized by Product Sales Support Engineer, and are available from Production Planning or Finances. 61 Performs software, ie. TOPSS, Spectrum and Cincom maintenance. Product Sales Support Engineer will be responsible for updating and editing products’ price list and database according to market movement and changes in product line. 61 All above mentioned salesman and customers conver all reginons factory served. Not Asia only. 61 In the process of planning and carrying out their own work, consider and carry out EHS work simultaneously, improve the EHS management of the department, prevent and eliminate EHS accidents 61 Other task assigned by superior. 61
Key Competencies: 61 Bachelor degree (or above) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and major in HVAC or refrigeration 61 Strong product knowledge 61 1 to 2 years’ work experience in engineering 61 Good presentation skill and interpersonal skill to ensure buy in. 61 Fluent in English & Mandarin.
