Job Description Lead and manage CDE (cost down engine) team, in charge of preliminary validation and research of cost saving ideas and solution. Job Responsibilities - Lead and manage the CDE team, developing and executing cost reduction strategies and plans - Lead team member study on technical topic and product develop, to identify opportunities for cost saving. - Lead team conduct preliminary validation and research of cost saving ideas to ensure their feasibility and effectiveness. - Driving cost down ideas through the organization, and cooperated with cross functions (Procurement, Quality, Production, global R&D). - Establish team resource needs, monitor schedules and key performance, to ensure achievement of cost reduction goals. - Supporting communication internally and externally with manufactory and supplier. Background & Skills - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Mechanical, Compressor, etc. - At least 5 years of relevant experience in product development or engineering. With experience in cost down is preferred. - Good leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members. - Effective communication and coordination skills, capable of working in a matrix organization & complex environment. - Good analytical and problem solving skills, familiar with quality tools such as 8D, FTA, 6-Sigma. - Strong result and business-oriented mindset. Leading for the change. - Fluent in English, both written and spoken. - Experience in compressor products, supply-chain management and manufacture process is preferred.
