I. General Summary & Overall Challenges We are seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining system requirements, creating and maintaining system and requirement specifications for our localized products, and developing architecture concepts for motion and optical imaging systems. This role will also involve planning and executing system integration, as well as composing and maintaining system-wide technical documentation in accordance with the design control process (DCP). The Systems Engineer will lead the deployment of DCP/DFR swim lane execution within projects and spearhead new technology development initiatives. This position requires a deep understanding of system engineering principles, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products. II. Key Responsibilities Define system requirements in collaboration with stakeholders from BU, Service, and R&D to ensure alignment with business needs and technical feasibility. Develop and maintain detailed requirement and system specifications for assigned products. Create architecture concepts for motion and optical imaging systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and scalability requirements. Plan and execute system integration activities, ensuring seamless integration of components and subsystems. Compose and sustain comprehensive system-wide technical documents in accordance with the design control process, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Lead the deployment of DCP (Design Change Plan) / DFR (Design for Reliability) swim lane execution within projects, ensuring adherence to established processes and best practices. Lead and manage new technology development projects, driving innovation and continuous improvement in our product offerings. III. Requirements for This Position Professional Experience More than 5 years of experience in complex system design. Strong background in motion and optical imaging systems. Proven track record in conceptual system design, such as design and development for medical devices or life science products, including opto-digital imaging and motion systems for scanning and auto-focus operation. Proven experience in system requirements definition, system specification, and architecture concept development. Familiarity with GB/T 2985, GB/T 11239.1, and GB/T 11239.2 for widefield compound microscope, surgical operation microscope, and ophthalmic operating microscope. Familiarity with GB4793 and GB9706 is a plus. Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation according to design control processes. Education Bachelor's or master’s degree in systems engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Language Proficient in English (C2) (spoken & written). Proficient in Chinese (C2) (spoken & written). German is a strong plus (spoken & written). Travel If applicable: Required estimated % of time. IV.
