Purpose of CPEE( Chief Project Engineer Electronic) : The CPEE is the Functional Project Leader (FPL) of a lamp project regarding electronics. CPEE is responsible for coordinating a cross functional team of hardware, software, electro mechanical and validation engineers. CPEE is responsible for the project management and lamp electronic application and integration. This includes: -Core team member of headlamp team. -Strong cooperation with the Functional Project Leader of mechanic design CPEM (Chief Project. Engineer Mechanics) and the Program Manager (PM) of the headlamp. -Compliance with the project milestones (G0 G7), timelines and schedules agreed with the customer and the headlamp project. -Coordination and agreement with all involved areas ( e .g. headlamp development, ECU platform development, AL headlamp plant). -Requirement Management: Implementation of the requirements regarding electronics defined by the customer. -Change Management. -Time and Cost Tracking.
Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for leading EE offer phase , including customer requirement collection , system architecture design, technical description , R&D budget sheet and so on. 2. Responsible for project development timing/bud get planning control : base on lamp development schedule to define electronic parts development schedule (LED PCBA, Driver and ECU Development)control the development budget (working hours, sample cost, travel cost, etc. 3. Ensure the report of project development status & escalation of risks to management on time. 4. Responsible for design to cost D2C)D2C): during production development phase to control the design cost for every design concept. 5. Responsible for requirement management : collect customer requirement and support system engineer to analyze requirement. 6. Responsible for leading whole R &D teams to do electrical related activities: e.g. production specification , LED sheet , PCBA D2C and so on. 7. Responsible for regular meeting with related project team members for project status review. 8. Together with CPEM as functional project leaders of R&D team, to be the window person to the other function teams and customer , keep goo d relationship with customers. 9. Support PSR team f o r design package release for B/C/D sample. 10. Support for electrical manufacture supplier management with SQE, EQM and PSR.
