REQUIRED BACKGROUND 1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering 2. 3+ years of relevant industry experience 3. Hands-on experience with designing, debugging, and testing of motor controllers 4. Good understanding of magnetics, switching circuit topologies, gate drivers, modeling, and simulation in power electronics 5. Analog, digital and mixed-signal hardware design
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION 1. Automotive industry background 2. Advanced education focused in power electronics 3. Experience in power electronics design for application up to 1KV and 500A 4. Commercial vehicle traction inverter power electronics developments experience 5. Knowledge of AC motor control and modulation techniques for three-phase inverters 6. Python/MATLAB scripting for data analysis and visualization 7. Experience developing power electronics products with SiC and GaN devices
