Job Description: 1. Develop Instrument Design Basis/Philosophy. 2. Ensure design complies with project specifications and regulatory requirement. 3. Prepare instruments datasheet, IO list and index, F&G Cause and Effect Chart. 4. Independently review and approve vendor drawings based on the project. 5. Conduct technical clarification meeting with vendors/owner. 6. Prepare engineering drawings/documents. 7. Review technical offer from vendors. 8. Perform technical bid evaluation. 9. Good knowledge on international codes & standards. 10. Work with Engineers and Designers both within and outside the discipline to ensure instruments are selected, installed, and configured for optimum operation and accuracy.
Job Requirements: 1. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2. At least 5 years of relevant working experience in marine/ offshore industry for instrumentation and control system design, analysis and implementation. 3. Experience with control system programming and software tools. 4. Well versed with regulatory and class requirements. 5. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Able to work in a team. 7. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
