Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer who excels in deploying applications to the cloud using Kubernetes, AWS, or other cloud environments. The ideal candidate will not only have deep technical knowledge of cloud platforms but also the leadership and strategic thinking needed to guide a team through infrastructure changes and architectural improvements. Additionally, they should be well-versed in addressing global challenges, such as firewall restrictions in countries, and have the ability to delegate tasks effectively while mentoring the team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the deployment of cloud applications using Kubernetes, AWS, or other cloud platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure.
- Strategically prioritize and implement changes to the application architecture to meet business needs and improve performance.
- Direct and mentor a technical team through cloud infrastructure transitions, ensuring proper delegation of tasks and knowledge sharing.
- Address global cloud infrastructure challenges, including overcoming firewall restrictions and networking issues in countries
- Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions into the existing product.
- Provide guidance on cloud best practices, ensuring cost-effective and reliable deployment processes.
- Stay current with evolving cloud technologies and implement new tools and methods to keep the infrastructure cutting-edge.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in cloud deployments using Kubernetes, AWS, or other cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and the ability to make decisions regarding performance optimization and architectural changes.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a technical team, delegating tasks, and fostering growth within the team.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and make key decisions regarding cloud infrastructure and application changes.
- Expertise in global cloud challenges, including addressing firewall restrictions in countries.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on teaching and guiding team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with multi-region cloud deployments, especially in restricted environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud automation, and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Oracle Cloud, Azure, or similar platforms.
- Certifications in Kubernetes, AWS, or other cloud technologies.
- English is highly required
- Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the job.
- 3 or more years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful cloud infrastructure management.
