Your Roles & Responsibilies:
- Drive performance improvement of defined Commodity in Asia
- Lead Purchasing activities in defined commodity together with Commodity Buyers in other Asia countries
- Monitor supplier capabilities and market trends in Asia
- Manage and align Supplier Panel with Global Commodity Buyer
- Develop Material Purchasing strategies
- Join supplier nomination of key projects
- Conduct annual supplier negotiation to achieve saving target
- Take Supply Chain Risk management
- Follow Contract Management guideline
- Promote supplier transfer to LCC
- Support new project launch in Asia
- Support escalations from other functions like Plant, Supplier Quality, Logistics , etc.
- Other individual tasks from the superior
Your Skills & Strengths:
- Bachelor degree or above, major in Engineering or Business Administration
- Strong experience and knowledge of the Market, Supplier and Components within metal
- Strong purchasing experience for min. 3-5 years within larger international organizations preferred within the automotive industry
- Good oral and written English
- Self-motivated with entrepreneurship mind set with the willingness to develop new responsibilities
- Strong analytics, communication and decision-making skills
