Required Skills:
1. Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, or MS with 5 years equivalent experience of developing quantitative cell-based assays that enable optimization of drug candidates
2. Deep understanding of cell biology topics including the cell cycle, proliferation, differentiation, and regulation of gene and protein expression.
3. In-depth conceptual knowledge and practical expertise in the design and development of robust assay systems
4. Fluent in assay data analysis and associated software
5. Good at literature searching and reading. Capable of experimental design, protocol development, and data report writing.
6. Capable of trouble shooting and data analysis (using statistical tools).
7. Excellent communication skills, oral and writing, in English and Chinese. Capable of scientific presentation, both oral and writing.
8. Strong sense of responsibility. Hard-working and self-motivated. Efficient and capable of meet timelines.
9. Capable of multitasking with good organization and prioritization skills.
10. Pleasant interpersonal skills, and be able to work with different teams or supporting function.
11. Scientific publications/presentations in peer-reviewed journals or relevant scientific meetings is a plus.

2. Represent updates at project team meetings
3. Communicated with the client for better understanding of assay results
4. Act as an assay subject matter expert resource for colleagues and take calculated risks to advance technological capability for developing innovative assays.
