1. Position Summary: The Motor Controls Calibration Engineer is supporting eMachine and eDrive characterization and motor controls algorithm calibration. The engineer will be responsible for testing campaign readiness which includes system level integration of motors, inverters, software, and test setup. The engineer will work closely with Motor Controls, Power Electronics, Machine Design, Software, and Validation engineers. The engineer will be under the supervision of the Software technical Leader, Motor Control Principal engineer and domain leader.

61 Support Motor control algorithm calibration & validation 61 Machines, Inverters, and Drivetrain characterization 61 Support Documentation creation & management: calibration procedures, testing standards, test automation 61 Closely working with embedded software, Power electronics, Electric Motors and product line engineers for algorithm validation & testing 61 Support trouble-shooting on various test benches for system validation" 61 Support to deploy the standardized development procedures and engineering practices for ensuring consistency and process adherence across all electrification programs.
3. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field 2 years+ working experience of Motor Control Calibration
4. Key Skills and Knowledge 61 Familiarity in motor control algorithm fundamentals including, Machine characteristics, Field Oriented controls, Sensorless control , Space Vector Modulation, 61 Proficiency with testing and postprocessing tool (Matlab, LABVIEW, Power Analyzer, Oscilloscope…) 61 Capable of reading and understanding C-code and Model Based Algorithms 61 Fluent English
