Diploma/Degree and minimum 3 years of relevant working experience. With good SAP knowledge.
Responsibility To ensure that the required parts are available at the right time and in the right quantity To ensure that the inventory levels of parts are maintained at or below the target levels and control obsolete material base on target. To study the MRP Suggested Report and process/release Schedule Agreement; and send the Schedule Agreement to vendors. To study the SAP Exception Messages and perform the appropriate rescheduling and cancellation activities on the existing outstanding Schedule Agreement; changes to be sent to vendors. To work closely with Production Planner and expedite delivery of materials to support the changing production requirements To follow -up with vendors on the confirmation of Schedule Agreement sent out To work with SCM/PUR and obtain parts from alternative vendors in the event that the primary parts have unresolved delivery or quality problems To forge cordial and beneficial relationships with vendors (e.g. through goodwill visits) with a view of obtaining extra information on foreseeable delivery or quality problems. To liaise with PUR and vendors on tooling maintenance and the build-up of stocks before the transfer of tools To make the necessary adjustments to the ordering of parts affected by damaged parts claims and those affected by any engineering changes etc. Support Logistic WCM or LP activity Any other duties as assigned by superior.
