Job Responsibilities: 1 Work with our regional manufacturing partner (SPS) in developing, implementing, and executing the requirements of a robust quality system. 2 Monitor the manufacturing processes to assure that all Control Plan parameters are being monitored, meet expectations, and corrective actions are implemented for non-conforming processes/product. 3 Support all customer specific audits; understanding requirements, 4 Participate and lead internal and external audits. Assure systemic corrective actions are implemented for issues found through Internal and External audits. 4 Drive the Layered Process Audit process to identify robustness and improvement opportunities. 5 Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality concerns and assure that Neapco Quality Response Teams are responsive to customer requirements and requests. 6 Work closely with Neapco’s Global Corporate Quality Group to develop lean global quality and issue resolution systems. 7 Develop and maintain global lessons learned. Share best practices across all facilities. 8 Assure plant quality systems stay aligned to Neapco Global Quality System and effectively prevent defects and satisfy customer needs. 9 Lead all efforts relative to customer warranty: prediction, analysis, root cause analysis, corrective action, reporting. 10 Determine quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes. 11 Prepare as necessary reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations. 12 Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies; maintaining ASQ or equivalent certified quality engineer qualification. Qualifications/Skills: 13 Minimum of 5-7 years in plant/factory operational quality management (i.e. plant quality engineer). Experience with SPC, capability studies, DOE’s, variation reduction. Excellent problem-solving skills. 682 black belt certification preferred. 14 Experience working in a global/multi-national Tier 1 Automotive supplier preferred. 15 Ability to work in a co-manufacturing environment, i.e. where manufacturer is not Neapco, rather a partner. Role requires ability to partner effectively with co-manufacturer. Neapco is, however, is the Tier 1 and retains all the responsibilities of being the Tier 1. 16 Experience with global OEM’s necessary, especially BMW/BBA and Ford/CAF. 17 Minimum of five (5) years of Quality Management Systems experience (both operational and implementation) in automotive components, preferably driveline or similar products & processes. International experience strongly preferred. 18 Complete understanding and application of Automotive Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and PPAP). 19 Strong audit experience/certification in ISO/IATF/VDA/CQI. Lead Auditor Certification preferred. 20 Expertise in applied statistics, especially as related to process capability and gage/measurement system validation. 21 Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and support emergency response teams. 22 Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be proficient in English, both spoken and written. 23 Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 24 Ability to travel as required, potentially international. 25 Experience with German Oems is preferred Education: 1 Bachelor’s Degree required within Engineering or Quality fields preferred. 2 Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification, or equivalent preferred. 3 Certified Six Sigma Black Belt preferred. 4 English proficiency, both oral and written
