Essential responsibilities and duties
The System Architect is responsible for the technical concept, technical feasibility and customer specification fulfilment of a new product. He/she gives the necessary releases during the development process.
The main missions of the role are:
Ensure the product's development: Adherence of quality methods; Keep the development plan up to date; Ensure timely completion of each work package; Define and supervise work packages of Technical Development and manage necessary changes, Co-ordination with customers, suppliers and Industrial Engineering.
Support the building of the Business Plan.
Work out the product documentation and product history.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Master's degree in engineering
Experience :
o Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment (ideally in the automotive industry)
o Minimum 3 years of project experience including knowledge of Project Management processes
Skills and competencies
o Strong written and oral communications skills
o Good knowledge of Program standards, tools and methods
o Good computer skills (MS-Office, CATIA)
o Basic finance skills
o Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
