As Business Process Engineer, you are active in 4 areas: Continuous improvement projects (CIP), Lean training and implementation, manufacturing excellence and process digitalization, New product introduction and layout proposal and alignment etc.
Main Responsibilities: 1. Play an important role in the development and implementation of a group wide harmonized manufacturing excellence program. 2. Apply and implement defined lean processes, tools and methods in various areas (assembly, logistics, method …) and further operations functions according to the agreed scope and planning. 3. Implement the latest industrial 4.0 and digitization workshop concept into Wuxi Plant II to ensure all the installed modern factory systems running in a proper way. 4. Improve production efficiency through various modern and new manufacturing and supply chain technologies and best practice. 5. Drive and trigger lean initiatives at the plant and ensure their sustainable implementation. 6. Identify and lead potential improvement projects and develop proposals for future workshops. Be responsible for implementing the project within the given timing and budget. 7. With new product introduction, you support or be part of a cross-functional project team, support and assist to safeguard the lean principles, initiate new layout proposal and alignment. 8. You will share experiences, secure the knowledge of lean manufacturing principles by establishing procedures and providing training in the organization. 9. Act as the internal auditor in Wuxi Plant II to ensure the procedures assigned by management team in line with the “The way we do things”. 10. Finish assigned temporary work from management team. 岗位任职能力与资格要求(Competence and qualification)： Experience requirements (经验要求): 1. Over 3-5 year experience in project engineer/specialist role 2. Experienced in value stream analysis and design 3. 5+ years of operations / production / method experience with broad knowledge of multiple functional areas (planning, production process, product management, system, etc.) 4. Experience on digitalization and loT projects.
Knowledge 1. Mastery of CIP concepts and practices (black belt certification desirable), knowledge of various continuous improvement methodologies including 6S, TPM, TQM, etc. 2. Ability to successfully work with people at different hierarchy levels 3. Good understanding in modern IT knowledge
Educational requirements (教育要求): Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering is required.
