Key Accountabilities - Providing Overall engineering support to establish or maintain manufacturing line in China. - Managing the scheduling, construction, qualification, and on-time delivery of related capital equipment. - Helping the Launch Team meet key project milestones and supporting regularly scheduled progress updates with manager and key stakeholders. - Obtaining and coordinating required launch support from Global Operations, AMT, BU; Strategic Sourcing, Global Facilities, Trade Compliance and Legal. - Helping to train the shop floor workers. - Assisting in site preparation. - Coordinating with Strategic Sourcing on qualifying purchased components and raw materials. - Establishing a safe and environmentally compliant work environment for employees. - Establishing an effective QOS to include: Process Layouts; PFMEAs, Control Plans; Reaction Plans; Work Instructions; Measurement Systems. - Understanding key customer requirements and milestones and managing a PPAP and production launch schedule for all products/customers. - Other duties as determined by the manager. Key Qualifications & Requirements Education Qualification: - Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field (Engineering or equivalent) required. Technical Competence & Skills: - Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes from raw material through finished product is required - Working knowledge of current liquid or air manufacturing processes is preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) is required - Proficiency with common project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Visio, or equivalent) is preferred - A thorough understanding of industry-wide Quality tools such as Process Layouts; PFMEAs, Control Plans; Reaction Plans and Work Instructions is greatly preferred Leadership Competence: - Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills - Maintains effective working relationships with others - Must be self-directed and able to take appropriate action to drive results Relevant Experience: - Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is required - Previous project management responsibility with demonstrated results is preferred - IATF16949 work experience is desired. - Excellent manufacturing efficiency improvement achievements in past work experience - Proficient in IE aspect analysis and action plan and implementation Others (% of travel, language, etc.): - Can read and write English
