Key Accountabilities 1. Supervises and leads multiple production departments which includes assigning work, encouraging team involvement, completing the performance management process for all operators, scheduling work, ensuring needed equipment is maintained and purchased and developing and following the department’s budget. 2. Coaches operators through the problem solving process to identify problem areas and solve them, including manufacturing processes, reducing set up time, equipment problems and reducing scrap. 3. Trains operators on procedures, methods, problem solving, prints, programming, quality requirements, team methods and safety. 4. Educates operators in the safety requirements of their department and plant. 5. Coaches operators on safety improvements, department inspections, safety surveys and follow up on safety issues. 6. Works with operators on quality assurance, including quality requirements and procedures for the department and plant, as well as monitoring quality. 7. Resolves employee relation issues through effective remediation techniques. 8. Utilize human resources and/or manager to assist in solving unresolved work-related problems. 9. Ensures that transactions are processed into Oracle systems on a timely basis. 10. Maintains employee attendance and KPIs for measuring continuous improvements.
Key Qualifications & Requirements Education Qualification: 1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field and minimum 2 years production supervision experience. Relevant experience may substitute for education.
Technical Competence & Skills: 2. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. 3. Strong problem-solving skills and use of the problem-solving tools. 4. Experience in leading the implementation of manufacturing systems from a business perspective. 5. Performance Improvement & Management 6. Data analysis & interpretation

Relevant Experience: 1. 3 to 5 years of manufacturing supervision experience is required. 2. 2 years of manufacturing experience is required or an equivalent combination or education and experience.
