Key Responsibilities: * Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure new product development meets expectations regarding cost, performance, and timeline. * Lead in engineering activities in product development phases including benchmark study, concept and IP review, DFMEA & DVPR, prototype build, design review, tooling trial, validation testing, etc. * Establish validation plans and lead the implementation in supporting localization for inter-plant transfer and outsourcing projects. * Investigate product issues found in validation and/or field, provide improvement solutions from engineering perspective. * Investigate potentials and conduct VAVE for both quality and cost effectiveness improvement.
Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or its equivalent, with Intermediate level of both written and oral English. * At least 3 years' engineering work experience in engine liquid (fuel and lube) filtration industry. * Familiar with new product development process and understands IATF16949. * Able to work under a global atmosphere.
Preferred Qualifications: * Familiar with engine air and/or mobile hydraulic filtration products is highly preferred. * Fuel and lube filtration products’ IP awareness. * Familiar with plastic injection molding and sheet metal stamping, die casting.
