Assume responsibility for Friction Sales in China. Establish close contact with all relevant customer purchasing, engineering, quality and manufacturing personnel to gain their assistance in the maintenance of current business and development of new business. Travel is required to support the customer and to support/develop new opportunities.
*Ensure that all commercial, engineering, technical and quality issues are discussed and resolved with the appropriate customer and internal personnel.
*Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of quotations, sample and initial production shipments.
*Maintain effective communications with the Friction Products organization with respect to business trends, marketing conditions and competitive changes.
*Coordinate and organize visits to plants and technical sites to ensure that customer needs and requirements are being met.
*Actively participate in achieving corporate and divisional goals and objectives relative to quality, cost, profit, return on sales, productivity, customer service, and adherence to budget goals.
*Keep fully informed of product and manufacturing changes that are internal and external to the organization.
*Develop sales plan/forecast, long-term strategic plan, and input competitor information as it becomes available.
*Perform detailed customer presentations.
*work & manage with marketing to gather and participant maker information collection & analysis.

Effective in written and spoken English and Chinese - Education – (Engineering Degree preferred) - Comfortable working with Western Companies - Ability to travel within China.
- Ability to travel to Europe and or USA for training and meetings. - 8+ years experience in Chinese Automotive Environment . Preferred experience with Friction or Brake manufacturers.
