We are seeking for an experienced sourcing specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide on one hand essential support to various Compressor Technique (CT) companies in China, specifically in the procurement of software and IT services and work closely together with the IT sourcing department In Belgium. On the other hand, you will be responsible for Indirect Sourcing for the Wuxitec plant and also support other companies in Europe to benchmark their suppliers with the Chinese market.

83 IT Sourcing CT companies China (reporting to IT and indirect sourcing manager Airpower)
1. Commodity Strategy Development:
- Mapping of the existing IT tools and contracts in place
- Collaborate with internal customers to understand the needs.
- Organize commodity team meetings to align the needs of customers with the strategy set out by CT-IS APAC region.
2. Procurement and Quotation Management:
- Translate technical requirements into functional specifications and send quotation requests for IT solutions (hardware, software, etc.).
- Analyze offers and prepare award documents.
- Serve as the IT-Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all CT companies in China.
- Maintain contact with other IT purchasing department Airpower and at the group level.
3. Contract Management:
- Launch and monitor the implementation of awarded IT contracts in collaboration with the legal department and the CT-IS department.
- Negotiate prices, modalities, conditions, and contracts for IT goods and services.
4. Supplier Management:
- Source and identify service providers.
- Stay updated on the latest technology evolutions and market trends.
- Organize and lead follow-up meetings with suppliers.
- Monitor compliance with the purchasing procedure and maintain balanced customer-supplier relationships.
5. Align on process and application level with IT sourcing department Airpower to improve the efficiency and transparency of the CT IT landscape in China
83 Support other Indirect sourcing departments to benchmark their local offers towards the Chinese market (reporting to IT and indirect sourcing manager Airpower)
1. Launch comparable quotations to Chinese suppliers.
2. Support in negotiations and contracting.
3. Support in the follow up process to deliver the goods to the European countries.
83 Indirect Sourcing Wuxitec
1. Collaborate with new plant project teams to understand project requirements and timelines, and manage any changes in project scope, budget, or schedule that impact procurement for new plant.
2. Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing.
3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing processes and practices.
4. Maintain contingency plans for critical consumable supplies and materials.

Your education and experience
- Bachelor’s in industrial or economic sciences or equivalent through experience
- Possess at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a commercial position.
- Demonstrate knowledge of or affinity with the IT sector to gain good product knowledge quickly.
