The jobholder is responsible for the Product Quality Assurance for Barco’s business/ operation. He/She is responsible for realizing quality and performance improvement initiatives during the product life cycle.
Key Responsibilities: - Ensure that field and internally quality issues are resolved using professional problem-solving methods, including tear down inspection, test design, possible causes analysis and validation, improvement close loop follow up etc. - Act as a quality role for NPI & transfer projects. Proactively collaborate with all internal stakeholders, analyze risks, provide advice and make sound judgement in granting project/product milestones. - Make overall product quality control plan to ensure the product quality matches to the required standards and regulations. - Maintain uniformity in process/procedures/working practices. - Contribute to quality improvement programs, projects, audits. Keep continuous improvement thinking and action within Barco. - Motivate & train the teams to be Quality oriented. - IQC support when needed. - Other tasks assigned by the Quality Manager.
Education: - Bachelor's or above in a technical field or an equivalent combination of experience and education. - Auditor (ISO9001 or IATF16949) certificates will be a plus.
Experience: - At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in electronic - Familiar with projector or other similar products will be a plus.
