POSITION TITLE:

Hardware Engineer

REPORTS TO:

CONE/CPD-CN Department Manager.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

* Implementing Hardware design and verification test of wired remote
controller, IoT adaptor, gateway etc.
* Component selection, qualification and maintenance.
* Interacting with electrical component vendors and OEM suppliers.
* Documenting all technical design files.
* Handling certification test: CCC, CE and UL etc.
* Support other design aspects like Mechanical, SW etc.
EXPERIENCE:

* 5+ years hardware design experience, preferable in controller and
communication product design, such as remote controller, human machine
interface, router, etc.
* Experience with high volume run product design, test and certification.
SKILLS:

* Excellent understanding of digital hardware design, power design, and
high-speed interfaces, timing analysis and signal integrity issues.
* Understanding of analog electronic concepts and EMC, can supervise layout
design.
* Familiar with EDA tools such as Mentor, OrCAD, Allegro etc.
* Familiar with product development process and lifecycle.
* Good logic thinking and presentation skill.
* Good written and verbal communications skills in English.
EDUCATION BACKGROUND:

* Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, automation, electronics
engineering or equivalent technology from an accredited university.
