Key Accountabilities: 61 Develop and update working instructions to standardize the work and safe use of equipment. 61 Develop PPAP documents and dynamically maintain it, including PFMEA, CP, PFC. Responsible that all these are reviewed, understood and approved. 61 Use IE tools to find the opportunities to increase the line efficiency, improve line speed balance. 61 Lead the manufacturing process change with product/process change until physical completed. 61 Manage the new machine or fixture or modifications with supplier from statement of work, machine functional specification, concept design, functional/safety design approval, acceptance test before shipment, Installation, acceptance test after installation. 61 Train operator for any new released product and process and assess the training effect until qualified. 61 Hands-on manner to set and optimize the machine parameters and recipes. 61 Daily managing production line issues related to equipment and process, provide solutions. 61 Develop and maintain the product bill of material (BOM). 61 Support maintenance team to create/update machine daily check and regular maintenance plan. 61 Lead validation sample build according to project plan. And lead the sample review and report before shipped out for performance test. 61 Leverage global resources and cross-functional resources for product launch, quality issue, trouble shooting. 61 Drive Cost reduction initiatives including manufacturing scrap reduction, productivity improvement, and VAVE Work with product engineering team to hit plant monthly/yearly target. 61 Follow APQP process and lead internal cross-function team making sure new product introduction/product transfer safe launch on time delivery. 61 Support quality team to create/update a robust quality control process. 61 Support to analyze the source of production scrap and provide solutions. 61 Other responsibilities assigned by Engineering manager. 61
Key Qualifications & Requirements Education Qualification: 61 Bachelor’s degree in a Mechanical Engineering is required. Technical Competence & Skills: 61 Ability to use AutoCAD is required. 61 Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is required 61 A thorough understanding of quality tools such as PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow chart is required 61 Abilities to use IE tools, like error-proof, VSM, MTM is preferred. 61 Working knowledge of liquid filter or air filter manufacturing processes is preferred. 61 Lean manufacturing knowledge is preferred. 61 Proficiency with common project management tools (e.g. MS Project, or equivalent) is preferred. 61 Leadership Competence: 61 Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills 61 Good team-work player 61 Strong sense of responsibility and work with closed-loop and PDCA approach
Relevant Experience: 61 Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is required. 61 Previous project management responsibility with demonstrated results is preferred. 61 IATF16949 work experience is desired. 61 Excellent manufacturing efficiency improvement achievements in past work experience is preferred. 61 Proficient in IE aspect analysis and action plan and implementation 61 Problem solving skill is preferred.
