Primary Responsibilities:
1、Making fluorescent reagents for flow cytometry with different antibodies, small molecule dyes, tandem dyes, Starbright dyes and other fluorescent fluorophores following the procedure developed in R&D.
2、Perform routine analysis, purification and characterization of dyes and reagents using chromatographic spectrophotometer, FPLC, and fluorometer.
3、Identify problems in the current procedures that may impact successfully making cFluor reagents. Provide mitigating plans to solve these problems.
4、Perform other reagent manufacturing work, such as preparing buffers, formulation, bottling, as needed.
5、May be required to conduct new product development and making customer reagents.
6、Write standard lab procedures as needed
7、Work independently with minimum supervision and have enthusiasm to learn new skills.
8、Maintain good and timely documentation of experiments and follow ISO13458.
9、All other tasks and duties assigned as perceived and agreed upon by management.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1、BS, MS or above in Chemistry or Life sciences related background is required.
2、Experience of working in antibody and fluorescent dye conjugation in industrial settings is desirable but not required.
3、Strong troubleshooting skills in conjugation with all types of fluorophores, including small molecule dyes, tandem dyes, and other polymer/nanoparticle dyes.
4、Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
5、Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team of scientists.
6、Strong interpersonal skills as a team player.
