Hardware design engineers design, test and sustain electronic Printed Circuit Board (PCBs) assemblies and components. They conduct reliability testing and confirm that the product operates as expected with reference to specific documented hardware requirements.
what you will do: 61Develop and maintain electronic circuit designs with embedded processors and FPGA/CPLD.
61Design of analog and digital interface circuits, development of power supply circuits and/or selection of power supplies.
61Perform worst case circuit analysis and incorporation of appropriate reliability principles to ensure reliable operation over the environmental specifications.
61Assist internal customers to develop, test and support PCBA related projects.
61Design and maintain PCBAs including both schematic and layout using design tools such as Mentor Graphic.
61Independently conduct and apply cost analysis to feasibility studies on proposed designs or modifications to existing designs.
61Integrate new and modify existing processes to cover all phases of the electronic development process.
61Understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
61Obtain agency approvals such as UL, CE and FCC on Printed Circuit boards and Electronic Panels.
what we want: 61BSEE or BSCE, or related field; minimum of 5 years of experience.
61Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule driven, team-oriented environment.
61Good team player, strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
61Familiarity with circuit design and layout tools such as Mentor Graphic is desired, Altium Designer as an option.
61Familiarity with signal integrity tools such as Hyperlynx is desired.
61Familiarity with Renesas, ARM and TI DSPs is desired.
61Familiarity with system modeling and simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK is a plus.
61Experience with programmable logic is a plus.
61Experience with power electronics hardware design is a plus.
