Responsibilities: 61 Implement the relevant requirements related on Weir Group SHE, Security, Manufacturing, Quality , ISO14001/45001 requirements ,and relevant local laws and regulations. Maintain ISO14001/45001 system for certification and continuously improvement. 61 Monitor, interpret, and assess existing or emerging SHE laws, regulations ,regulatory policies , and industry practices, determine operational and business impacts, and develop ,integrate ,communicate ,and execute strategies to effectively manage SHE outcomes. 61 Develop and implement local SHE procedures according to Weir SHE requirements, life saving rules standards, process safety standards, and relevant legislations. 61 Leading and driving SHE and process safety risk assessments. 61 Monitor operational changes(new projects, new work process or process change, layout changes etc.) to minimize SHE risks in daily operation. 61 Show leadership to promote safety awareness, and safe behavior in the site. Organize site basic behavior safety activities. 61 Arrange SHE induction training for new employees, supervise other 2 level (department level and team level) safety training, conduct safety training for contractors entering the site. 61 Organize SHE professional training and publicity at all levels to enhance the prevention awareness and professional level of all departments. 61 Lead site safety working committee to improve the safety awareness and develop SHE knowledge of shopfloor. 61 Do routine SHE inspection to ensure effectiveness of procedures and communicates. 61 Manages and reports on SHE KPIs for the site. 61 Leading/participating in the incident investigation and do the incident trend analysis. Incident reporting. Ensure root cause identification and corrective action developed. Tracking corrective actions, routinely provide status report to management team. 61 Coordinate the implementation of Corporate and Division activities, such as learning from incident, SHE warning communication and living safety campaign. 61 Coordinate the factory special equipment, chemicals and waste management, especially for the forklift, cranes, pressure vessels, pressure pipes, etc. 61 Compile and submit all required SHE reports to regulatory agencies and fulfil all SHE corporate reporting requirements. 61 Interact with government officials and other 3rd parties, responsible for government departments such as fire, emergency management, special equipment, occupational health ,environmental protection and other departments inspection reception and the corresponding corrective and preventive measures to develop and implement. 61 Fully support and involve in WINS program. Follows are Regulatory requirements: 61 Organize or participate in the formulation of safety production rules and regulations, operating procedures and emergency rescue plans for production safety accidents. 61 Organize or participate in the work safety education and training, and truthfully record the work safety education and training status. 61 Organize or participate in emergency rescue drills 61 Inspect the production safety status, investigate hidden dangers of production safety accidents in a timely manner, and put forward suggestions for improving production management. 61 Stop and correct behaviors that violate regulations, compel employees to work at risks, and violate operating regulations. 61 Supervise and urge the implementation of the company’s safety production rectification measures. 61 Assist in the implementation of national and local government safety management systems and regulations, and timely forward the safety documents and materials of relevant higher-level departments, timely issue safety management documents according to safety management needs. 61 Perform other tasks assigned by manager. Education and/or Experience: 61 Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Safety or Environmental Engineering related ,certified safety engineer is preferred. 61 Strong communication skill with both external and internal stakeholders. 61 Well command of oral and written English, and also Mandarin. 61 Knowledge and experience of ISO14001/45001, be familiar with SHE related laws and regulations. 61 Team management experience 61 At least 3-5 years of experience in SHE management position in manufacturing industry, work experience in foreign companies is preferre 3-5 competencies to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies. 61 Internal auditor certification for ISO14001/45001. 61 Familiar with SHE relevant laws and regulations. 61 Strong communication skills.
