In your new role you will:
61Best Cost Country Sourcing: Lead BCCS (Best Cost Country Sourcing) projects within Asia region
61Strategy: Develop and deploy the assigned category strategy
61KPI management: Fulfill KPIs for category manager role such as savings, payment terms, multiple sourcing, best cost country sourcing, sustainability, etc.
61Supplier management: Manage tier 1 and multiple tier suppliers strategically and professionally
61Contract management: responsible for contract management
61Risk management: Lead risk management assessment and deploy risk mitigations
61Market intelligence: Carry out market intelligence reports
61Stakeholder management: Act as a champion role to lead the cross-functional procurement team
61Stakeholder management: Co-ordinate a cross-functional team within and outside procurement team
61Support: Serve as escalation point of responsible and Asia suppliers for global category management team
61Support: Support local team on site upon request
61Support: Support special procurement projects or tasks upon request

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
61Master or Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering discipline
61Minimum 5 year experience in strategic sourcing or category management role
61Fluent in English and Chinese, German language preferred
61High sense of responsibility and ability to work independently and diligently
61Goal-oriented way of working with strong strategic thinking skills
61Proactive, determined, structured and solution-oriented approach
61Strong entrepreneur spirit and take own initiatives in a VUCA environment
61Strong communication skills with working with different levels of internal and external stakeholders
