Performs various routine accounting tasks and performs analysis tasks assigned in support of an operating unit. Communicate with business partners and support for the internal control and compliance.
Job Duties:
- Conduct the assigned local BR accounting process
- Responding to inquiries and contacting other departments or vendors to resolve a variety of problems.
- Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
- Upon request, take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP.
- Support business to validate adherence to policies and procedures
- Understand the business, SOX controls and Caterpillar policies. Provide training to facility personnel and leadership as it relates to internal controls
Education & Experience:
1.Four-year university graduate of accounting or finance or auditing major is preferred. Basic SAP/ERP knowledge is required.
2.Three to five years of professional level experience. Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
Competencies & Skills:
1.Should have demonstrated team leadership skills, and very good communication skills.
2.Good English are necessary.
3.Must have the ability to learn and do statistical analysis.
4.Familiar with digital tools (PBI/power automate) is preferred
Certificates/License:
CPA/CMA/ACCA preferred.
