Job Description
This position will work in Caterpillar China (Wuxi) R&D Center electrification & energy solution team, electrification is one of Caterpillar’s strategic technologies, and Caterpillar is accelerating electrification solution development in construction machinery, mining equipment and energy & transportation business. The electrification & energy solution team in Caterpillar Wuxi R&D center is part of Caterpillar global electrification team and responsible for electric drive system architecture development, system integration, battery design, motor and power electronics components design and charging solution development.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field: Electrical / Mechatronics/Electronics Engineering
本科以上学历，电气工程，机械电子，电子通信工程相关专业

5+ years’ work experience in electric drive motor development
5年以上新能源电机行业电机设计开发经验

Solidate knowledge at motor mechanical design, familiar with motor electromagnetic design & manufacture process
精通电机的机械设计,了解电机的电磁方案设计，电机的仿真和生产制造工艺

Familiar with motor control and testing
了解电机的控制和测试

Familiar with domestic and international electric drive motor related technical/regulation standards
了解国内和国际上电机的相关技术和法规标准

Good at Pro/E, ANSYS and related tools for motor design
熟练使用Pro/E, ANSYS 等相关的设计软件

Good communication and project management skills
较好的沟通能力和项目管理能力

Good English skills and team player, Interested in new technology and self-motivated
有较好的英语能力， 乐于团队协作，主动积极，对新技术感兴趣

Experience in PMSM/SRPM/Induction motor development are preferred
有永磁电机，磁阻电机,感应电机设计经验的优先

Responsibility:

The job will be related with following but not limited to

Motor requirements and specification development for electric drive system design based on machine performance requirements
基于整车的性能需求制定电机的技术需求

Motor stator and rotor mechanical design
进行电机的定转子结构设计

Collaborate with machine and system team for motor interface and installation design
与整车的技术负责人和电驱动系统工程师确定电机的机械接口和安装设计

Supplier collaboration from requirements define to mass production
与供应商协同开发从电机设计到最终产品量产

Develop lab testing and on machine validation plan
制定电机实验室和整车测试计划

Technical documentation development, drawing release
设计方案的归档和图纸发布

NPI issue resolution
开发过程中技术问题的分析解决
