As a member of the Asia Engineering team, the Software Engineer will be responsible for software development and testing to support Asia business growth. The work location is Wuxi. This person will report to the Principal Software Engineer. The Role Key responsibilities include the following: 61 Technical interface to customer for electronics, create and present technical presentations, review, clarify and negotiate the software requirements with customer. 61 Understand the product / system requirements and architecture designs, manager software requirements using Requirements Engineering Tools e.g., Doors. 61 Responsible for SW development, including coding, compile, debug. 61 Work with hardware engineer on software hardware interface definition and document. 61 Responsible for SW Test, including creating SW test specification and implementing SW test (static code test, unit test and integration test). 61 Responsible for creating test cases and compiling test scripts. 61 Responsible for analyzing root cause of software issues and giving solutions. 61 Be the voice of customer to Pune for software. 61 Contributing to the preparation of quotes for the software part. 61 Be resident in customer office to support customer SW integration testing, responsible for collecting, summarizing, analyzing, and solving the issues. 61 Continuous improvement closing gaps in software test coverage. 61 Meeting the quality procedure as per automotive standards. 61 Co-ordination with the project team and support project owner on task estimation and planning. 61 Support innovation and build prototype samples on SW side. 61 Available for domestic and global travel. 61 Training team members to improve their software skills. Qualifications 61 Educated to degree level in an electronics engineering discipline. 61 Should have 3 to 7 years of experience in automotive software development and testing. 61 Experience on 8/16/32-bit micro-controllers / processors and their architecture, familiar with NXP S32K1/S32K3 is a plus. 61 Strong in C, assembly programming. 61 Have knowledge of software testing, familiar with code static and unit Test Tools. 61 Have knowledge of CAN, LIN communication and UDS protocol. 61 Experience in using CANoe and creating test scripts by CAPL. 61 Fluent English both written and verbal, CET-4 or above. 61 Teamwork and good communication skills. 61 Familiar with automotive electronics development process and V-module. 61 Skilled in office application (outlook, word, PowerPoint, excel, and so on). 61 Creative and innovative. 61 Skilled in software requirements analysis and documentation. 61 Experience in using tools like IBM DOORS or MKS-PTC or Enterprise Architect, SVN, JIRA. 61 Understanding the hardware design and related requirements and schematics. 61 Experience of using debuggers, test equipment like oscilloscope, function generator and tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, Vectorcast. 61 Have knowledge of RTOS and non-RTOS based software development. 61 Experience in workflow for SDLC, V-model. 61 Analytical, problem solving and debugging skills. 61 Good knowledge of functional safety for automotive domain. 61 Good knowledge of AutoSAR/Cyber Security/ UDS/ CAN /LIN network management. 61 Good knowledge of A-Spice.
