Desired – 80 MSc. in Mech. Eng (or related science or engineering degree e.g. Aerospace Eng, Physics, etc.) or BSc with equivalent experience 80 Knowledge of Pro/E and design practices 80 Sensitive to data analytic and product optimization 80 Good communication skills with cross function team
Responsibilities
Primary – 80 Provide technical guidance regarding component selection and system performance. A significant portion of this will be in the form of analysis including: underhood thermal and flow CFD (hot or cold, air or fluid) and cooling system performance prediction (e.g. Kuli etc.). The analyst must explain the analysis assumptions, limitations, and results and provide value added input to the design process. 80 Construct, maintain, and interpret Design input 80 Define and manage core sample tests required to complete core selection 80 Define and oversee execution of all performance validation tests e.g. component performance test, machine cooling test, etc. 80 Review all performance test results and determine what actions must be taken e.g. create supplier test data entries or correlate analysis models as needed 80 Consider all aspects of commonality in core matrix selection
Secondary – 80 Mentor other analysts 80 Perform analysis to assist in the resolution of all component failures (CPI issues) 80 Assist project manager to construct, maintain, and interpret DGM 80 Develop new or improved analysis tools and techniques per team analysis MGPP
