Design Leader
The main missions of the role are:
61 Manage the day to day running of section, the work planning and the communication with the customer.
61 Work as part of the Design and Development team, developing complete seats, components or Frame.
61 Coordinate the input of data into computer.
61 Use Faurecia tools to manage and control the section.
61 Produce BOMs of complete seats and component assemblies. Check and approve Change control documents and DFMEA.
61 Work with all sections of our business and suppliers to ensure accurate data and information transfer is achieved.
61 Participate to meetings with the customers, the program team and the suppliers.
61 Ensure the approval of development according to functional risk and operations.
61 Ensure the financial feasibilities of the development.
Qualifications
Minimum education level: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineer

Calculation basis ( material constrain + functional dimension)
Automotive regulation (SR)
Practice of professional English : Fluent
Good practice of Catia 4.1 and have basic knowledge of computer systems

Designer
The main missions of the role are:
61Generate design concepts and produce conforming designs, parameters and calculations (provided by a project engineer or lead engineer).
61Develop feasible designs, considering available manufacturing processes. Perform engineering calculations for mass, strength and mechanical performance.
61Prepare and maintain engineering release and change documents.
61For each assigned project, provide alternative design solutions accompanied by analysis, supporting information and recommendations.
61Insure the accuracy of Designers' and Detailers' work by giving them clear, complete technical direction and by verifying the output.
61Lead all design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) studies.
61Maintain strong familiarity with specific customer CAD data integrity requirements and apply as required.
61Ensure that designs comply with government and customer specifications and regulations.
61Complete all assignments following prescribed schedules.
61Actively participate in product design reviews when required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Master’s degree in engineering
Experience in Design & Development within an industrial environment, ideally in the automotive industry
Knowledge and experience in the Project Management process
Good knowledge of Program standards, tools, and methods
Appropriate training in program specific CAD software
Familiar with primary manufacturing methods
Team player with strong communication skills
International mind set
Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
