Job Summary: Directly responsible for general sales growth, increase controlled business, key trade lane development and driver for new product offerings. Functionally responsible for local sales team including Customer Relations/Inside Sales and the branch’s sales strategy.
Duties & Responsibilities: Specific duties including, but not restricted to: - Responsible for local sales KPI’s and sales department budget - Prepare yearly business plan including GP, expenses, target accounts, products, verticals, KTL’s and locally controlled business development - Promote and develop new silver, gold and platinum accounts (KAM) - Support, direct and develop current and new KTL markets - Promote and develop new products/verticals - Responsible for tenders with product/operations - Assist in customer implementation - Ensure credit control procedures in place - Responsible for (own/team) account receivables - Empowered with BM to decide on credit terms up to 60 days - Continuously use and improve CRM as per management guidelines - Regular review “sales performance” with BM’s and make adjustments when needed including new hires - Hold regular sales meetings - Timely and monthly reporting to management team - Be aware of and help improve company financials and profitability - Train and coach sales team members - Follow the superior's instructions and implement policies - Report any special occasions to a superior on time - Any other duties as assigned from time to time
Skills & Educational Requirements: - Minimum 5 years Sales experience in Freight Forwarding/ Logistics; experience in European market is advantage - Familiar with Fujian Market - Experienced on team management - Highly motivated individual with a strong product knowledge in import/export ocean (NVOCC) and air, selling experience of value-added service 3PL solution is preferable - Broad knowledge and experience in sales management overseas and in the responsible region, local sales development, Key Trade Lane development and management, recruitment of talent - Winning attitude and track record of account and GP growth - Good written and spoken in English and Mandarin - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing - Knowledge of personal computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel software
Inter Relations: Good contact with all personnel within the company, with clients and vendors
