As an Automation Engineer you’ll be responsible for researching and developing advanced automation technologies, developing appropriate automation solutions, and managing automation projects across multiple sites. What you’ll do 61 Design and implement automated assembly and test lines for multiple manufacturing sites that produce lamps, luminaires, and LED drivers. 61 Research and develop advanced automation technologies and tools applicable to the manufacturing process. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation technology. 61 Build the automation development roadmap and propose design concepts that match the product roadmap. 61 Develop and execute appropriate automation solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. 61 Lead the design rule for automation and align on global standardizations. 61 Oversee the execution of automation projects with equipment suppliers and release the projects at manufacturing production sites. Ensure cross-site automation projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the specified performance and quality requirements. Your qualifications 61 A Bachelor or Master's degree in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or other related fields. 61 At least 8 - 10 years of experience in automation engineering in the electronics industry, preferably in the lighting industry. 61 Candidates with robot application capabilities/experience are preferred 61 Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. 61 Be able to work cross-functionally and guide discussions to ensure final consensus. 61 Be able to travel to multiple manufacturing bases and equipment suppliers as needed.
