Your responsibilities
* Strategy planning and implementation
* Supports the implementation of the Hub Division strategies.
* Business planning and forecasting
* In coordination with Hub Division Controller, translates strategy into
business plans and establishes measurable targets. Oversees the business
planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility and serves as
the interface to Hub Division Controller. Evaluates financial implications of
various strategic.
* Decisions, builds scenarios and recommends actions.
* Business performance
* Monitors all financial aspects of the manufacturing and related costs,
product costing, operational KPI’s, R&D investment effectiveness and provides
insight and analysis to support operational decision-making.
* Identifies issues and advises management on action plans and operational
strategies to resolve.
* Responsible to drive appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization
and capital efficiency.
* Supports and implements transfer pricing according to Global Marketing and
Sales guidelines.
* Manages and closely monitors OCF, supply revenues, Operational EBITA % and
takes action to improve Net Working Capital.
* Financial reporting
* In coordination with the Hub Division Controller, establishes and oversees
processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data
and business information.
* Ensures high quality and compliance of financial data and business
information in line with defined standards & financial closing
* schedules.
* Performance analysis, review & proposal for actions to management
supporting business performance.
* Enforcement of country and BU specific finance directives and instructions,
enforcement of Group Accounting and Reporting Guidelines and if applicable
filing as per local (legal) requirements.
* Operational excellence and quality management
* Supports manufacturing management in order in executing operational
excellence strategy and quality standards.
* Supports driving operational excellence through target setting and
monitoring (benchmarking if applicable).
* Supports driving overall productivity, delivery performance (ROTD) and cost
optimization all in cooperation with manufacturing management. Supports driving
cross functional collaboration and process improvement such as with shared
service centers, support (customer) services, etc.
* Supply chain management
* Support the execution of sourcing strategy in line with manufacturing unit
strategy and processes.
* Support Hub Division SCM/procurement and ***-factoring unit manager to
measure and meet targets and support sourcing strategy in manufacturing unit.
* Research & development
* Supports planning, implementation and controlling of the execution of R&D
projects, project deliveries on time and on cost and project targets.
* Risk management
* Assesses business risk exposure and defines risk mitigation strategies to
reduce impact on business performance in own area of responsibility.
* Ensures risk management processes are consistently implemented in own area
of responsibility, in coordination with the Hub Division Controller.
* Internal controls &compliance
* Implements and ensures compliance with global and local standards, rules
and regulations (including direct and indirect taxation, international transfer
pricing regulation), tools, policies and processes related to
operations/project execution and share functional best practices and lessons
learned across the ABB organization.
* Ensures transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Defines and
supports implementation of internal controls regarding financial and
non-financial operations.
* In coordination with the Hub Division controller and company CFO,
responsible for Assurance, SOX and overall oversight on the governance.
* This role will be performed in conjunction with respective company
Financial Controller.
* OHS & integrity

* Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is
organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
* Guides, motivates and develops direct/indirect subordinates within HR

* Supports the Hub Division to create, cultivate and develop talent and
capabilities and review effectiveness.
Your background
* Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Accounting, Auditing, Economics,
Business Administration etc.
* Requires a broad knowledge of diverse financial functions in manufacturing
and general business managements.
* Above 8 years’ experience in relevant finance controlling experience, at
least 2 years in management position.
* Excellent communication skills, optimistic, patient, persevering, good
inter-personal skills, with result orientation and customer orientation mindset.
* Strategic thinking skills and flexible.
* Proven problem-solving capability.
* Understanding ABB financial and business process and structure is a plus.
* Skilled at office software, digital tools and ERP system; SAP experience is
a plus.
* Good command of Chinese and English.
