This includes finalizing designs, creating repeats, selecting colours, and ensuring everything is technically sound before it goes into production. This would be required once per season, and would be a range of around 20 AOP's and 10 graphics. 1. Finalising the Artwork 61 Make sure all designs are fully completed and original. 61 Clean up any rough edges and refine details where needed.
Developing Colourways 61 Create different colour options that work merchandised.
Creating Repeats 61 Convert artwork into seamless repeats, making sure they align perfectly.
2. Preparing Artwork for Production
Printing & Scaling 61 Print out the design to check scale against the actual product to make sure it looks right. 61 Make any necessary tweaks based on test prints.
Choosing Pantones 61 Pick Pantone colours that match the intended look. 61 Compare printed samples with Pantone references to ensure accuracy.
Creating Technical Print Files 61 Give each artwork a unique code. 61 Fill in detail on artwork sheet. codes with details like design name, colourways, and repeat size. 61 Include repeat sizes, Pantone references, and scale info. 61 Format files according to production needs ( AI, PDF).
Final Checks & Handover 61 Do a last review to make sure everything is correct. 61 Send final files and specs to production. 61 Confirm all details with the production team before moving forward.
