Job Description As a Wire Bond Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining production line daily yield and OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency), leading or involving in new machines set up and test. And need in collaboration with other sites, groups, and machine vendors etc. Lead the team to discuss and gain collaborative input for machine improvement and update.
Key Roles & Responsibilities: Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Handle product quality abnormal and clear the machine alarm Draft report or record after trouble shooting done Maintain production line daily yield and OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) New machines set up and test Analyze the schedule down / unscheduled down and Availability data Equipment and work area 6S maintain PM (Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-annual, and Annual) and trouble shooting Leading projects related to DA equipment and complete tasks by assigned due date. Assist with documentation and training needs for new equipment. Lead equipment engineer team to seek machine capability margin. Lead equipment engineer team to figure out equipment function and capability enhancement opportunity. Lead equipment engineer to seek machine UPH improvement, MTBA reduction opportunity and project.
Additional Job Description Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studies equipment performance and reliability. Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.
