Job Statement Product expert working with the sales team in Mining Crusher Wears to build campaigns, opportunity funnel, priorities, and solutions with a focus on Chamber Optimization, Value Selling and Complex Proposals. Works closely with the BA Product team to deploy new product information, best practices, sales trainings and technology specific value argumentation. Key Responsibilities Business Development · Tier 2 Product Support · Responsible for support and/or lead complex proposals and sales for defined technology in the determined geographical region · Value selling proposals and concept development. Chamber Optimization technical presentations, coordination with Tier 3 group. Collection of data and process information (including use of scanner for data collection) · Assumes Solution Lead role on sales cases depending on the MA competence and situation; Escalation from Tier 1 to tier 2 · Acts as the main contact from sales towards Service Product Management and takes frontline feedback to the product management/development and delivery · Ensures timely progress of the sales case from lead to proposal and negotiations; Ensures profitability of the sales cases and the business segment · Understands the market, competition and the industry best practices for the defined technology and ensures that the sales case is built accordingly · Coaches and trains market area service sales teams (offering and ways to sell) and constantly seeks for best practices with the MA; provides expert content to the training team · Ensures compliance with sales process, proposal and risk management procedures in the cases · Supporting Warranty process, IB Validation, and inspection report reviews, recommendations, and solution definition. · Escalates issues to the Tier 3 Group. · Analyse the potential in the relevant regions for crusher wears business; Technical Product Support · Assist in the execution of major contracts, · Provide advice and direction in relation to the crusher wear parts range to internal personnel as necessary; · Update and advise technical changes wear parts range both internally and externally Price & Inventory Management · Working closely with the MA Product Support Managers to define, monitor and manage the regional pricing strategy · Assist local MA Product Support to define the inventory holdings that are required to be held in the region and appropriate locations, assist in selecting appropriate suppliers both locally and globally. Qualifications, Skills & Experiences Essential Bachelor of Engineering / Metallurgy OR Several years proven ability in the Mining Industry Successful field performance in sales of the parts and consumable products Technical orientation, and familiarity with metallurgy and/or mechanical equipment and process AutoCAD, PolyWorks and / or other relevant CAD software packages Experience implementing strategies and business direction to grow a business Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle licence and passport Must currently hold or be able to obtain a passport for international travel Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills Excellent time management, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to read, analyse and interpret documents and articles, in order to maintain market knowledge Ability to write routine reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Ability to effectively present information, and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Ability to handle concepts and develop business strategies. Travel – the role will require 25-50% travel withing the relevant geographical region. Desirable Intermediate computer literacy in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Understanding of the crushing process Ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
