Principle Accountabilities

1. Lead and manage the QC & lab team to delivery effective quality control system on shopfloor and high efficiency test lab in the plant.
2. Manage the team’s activities and resources that ensure timely and proper test and inspection support for the manufacturing process, as well as the implementation and audit of quality control systems from our customers or 3rd party.
3. Maintain and improve the QC & Lab operation procedure to conform to IATF16949, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and customer requirements.
4. Ensure testing and inspection schedules are met to meet internal/external customer deadlines whilst making best use of resources, (both equipment and people) meeting team KPI’s & objectives.
5. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and the implementation of best practice principles, to enhance QC and laboratory performance and operations’ cost.
6. Coach, mentor, and develop the team including succession planning, the delivery of constructive performance feedback, and the timely completion of annual reviews, etc.
7. Build up the EHS culture by delivering information to team members, allocating sufficient time and priority to promote and support EHS activities, training and meetings, etc.
8. Tackle significant EHS issues without delay, ensure potential hazards are identified and managed. Emphasize that production never compromises safety and health.

Qualifications

1. University degree in Engineering discipline and significant technical and/or manufacturing experience.
2. Demonstrated experience in effective leadership, with ability to coach, develop and engage individuals and teams.
3. Ability to use the lean tools to simplify the manufacturing process and reduce the waste
4. Familiar with IATF16949 quality management system and the APQP, PPAP, FMEA/CP, MSA, and Lean/CI tools.
5. Capability in problem solving methodologies and ability to lead a trouble shooting team
6. EHS *** and Quality always mindset.
7. Fluent in written and oral English.
8. Strong problem-solving skills with data driven.
9. Self-driven for continual improvement and result oriented and strong attention to details.
10. Work under pressure and flexible to change.
