"Responsibility:
-Investigate new / emerging technologies, innovations, and opportunities on advanced materials, increase company knowledge and gather insight.
-Filter and check feasibility of concepts and conduct proof of concept. Implement the development of innovation / concept in a cost efficient and timely manner.
-Supports new product development, and conducts chemical research and development related to new materials.
-Document research work in internal technical reports, patent disclosures and external publications in a timely manner.
-Keep up to date with latest technological developments, through attendance at trade shows, talking to universities etc. and attending internal and external training and sharing where appropriate.

Qualifications:
-Doctor of Philosophy in Science degree in a relevant discipline (Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science & Engineering, etc.). Fresh graduates will also be considered.
-Strong enthusiasm for the team's spirit of innovation in cutting-edge technology
-Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in Organic and Polymer synthesis
-Strong interest in polymer applications such as semiconductors, packaging.
-Good interpersonal and communication skills both in English and Chinese
-Positive, analytical, critical thinking, and good troubleshooting skills
