We are looking for a new colleague in the ME Dept. at our location in Zhangjiagang. Your tasks: For Prototype (Welding and Assembly): Responsible for design tool / fixture for new project base on understanding of new product design drawing and FMEA. Tracking tool /fixture status to meeting project time from purchasing status to tooling onsite. Involve prototype tool /fixture build in supplier side and tool /fixture assembly. Involve prototype tool /fixture pre-acceptance. Responsible for prototype tool /fixture debug and final- acceptance (CMK, etc..) For mass production (Major in welding, Cover assembly tooling): Responsible for exist tool /fixture design and maintenance optimization for efficiency / quality ensure for mass production. Responsible for management of welding related fixtures (including pressing, welding, punching, etc..). Involve define tool /fixture maintenance documentation and wear parts. Support process engineer on tool /fixture issue, analyzing the welding quality issues related with tool/fixture in production and improve the welding performance by adjusting welding fixtures. Participant EHS activities and training organized by plant. Responsible for modification, continuous improvement of fixtures based on production situation. Other tasks arranged by manager.
Your profile: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Design, Automation , Welding, and Manufacturing. More than 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering in automotive or automation industry, experience in MAG welding is preferred. Rich experience of fixture / tooling design. Good understanding in fixture adjustment. Good analysis and communication with peer group. Strong at problem solving and trouble shooting. Proficiency in 3D graphics software (SolidWorks, Auto CAD…) . Good English reading, writing, and speaking skills are preferred. Be familiar with welding process would be a plus.
