Overview This individual will be responsible for sourcing, place and follow up engineer sample and support mass production parts, ensure material on time delivery, cost down termly and purchasing team management. Excellent communications skills and the ability to work with a variety of people in a wide range of functional areas is mandatory. Technical background with some knowledge of mechanical parts processing including plastic molding, die casting, and sheet metal forming is desirable.

Responsibilities l Supervise and update material unit price, supplier information and minimum stock, lead time of each model for PMC and other documents in purchasing department. I Work with IQC and Suppliers to solve the quality issue of inferior material. l Responsible for purchase claim process l Follow up buyer's PO result and make sure parts arrived in house, pass IQC and ready for production on time l Search new suppliers, quote new products parts against benchmark data or parts cost simulations l Communicate with suppliers in case other dept such as QC, Engineering, and Finance have problem in getting response from the concerned supplier. l Update supplier information, and monthly share it with other related department l Monitor supplier performance on a monthly basis: delivery and quality and take action accordingly
l Responsible for the suppliers’ performance improvement to meet the process quality objective.
l Coordinate with other departments internally within the company to accomplish his task

Education and Experience l University degree or above
l Minimum 5 years working experience in purchasing area, preferably in speakers /multimedia/audio / electronics industries.
l Good Communication skills, coaching skill, Analysis skill and business sense
l Be an active team player and supportive of all business
l Computer literate with strong command of Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
